1. Who we are

Precision Regulatory Consulting LLC (‘PRC’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) is a North Carolina (United States) limited liability company providing regulatory and quality consulting services to the medical device, in-vitro diagnostic, combination product, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, telephone number, company, job title, account credentials, membership selection, communications and information entered into forms.

When you use the training portal, we may collect information about course access, lesson activity, downloads, completion status, account actions and support requests.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, approximate location, cookie identifiers and website activity.

3. How we use your information

To respond to your inquiries, deliver requested resources, operate your account, analyse website usage and improve functionality, and comply with applicable legal requirements. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Lawful basis (GDPR)

For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we process personal data on the lawful bases of your explicit consent, our legitimate interest in operating the website and responding to inquiries, and where applicable, the performance of a contract.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and may be facilitated through Paid Memberships Pro. PRC receives transaction details such as payment status, amount, date, customer identifier and limited card information such as brand and last four digits. PRC does not intend to receive or store full payment-card numbers through its website.

6. Cookies & tracking

We will employ Cookies and similar technologies that we deem to be “necessary” for a customer’s account login, Security (including fraud prevention), Language preference, Checkout Process and User Preferences.

Cookie Categories and Providers that appear in the Cookie Banner shall reflect the actual Cookie Technologies that have been detected on our Website. Analytics Cookies may be used by us to analyze how well our website is working and to enhance our Services.

7. Training Activity

We may maintain records of lesson access, downloads, knowledge checks, completion status and account activity to provide the service, support users, prevent unauthorized sharing, improve training and maintain business records.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, service delivery, security, dispute resolution, tax and accounting obligations and enforcement of our agreements. Different categories may have different retention periods.

9. Data security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the services we provide. No security measure can eliminate all risk. No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

  9.1 Future uploads

If PRC introduces document-upload functionality, the applicable page will identify the permitted file types, purpose, security controls, retention approach and any additional terms. The availability of an upload feature does not mean that PHI or confidential regulated content is permitted.

  9.2 AI workflow notice

Certain Elite features may use artificial intelligence to assist with issue framing, checklists, draft structures or educational scenarios. Inputs and outputs may be processed by third-party technology providers.

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate for a specific product or regulatory situation. They require review by a qualified human professional and must not be treated as final regulatory, quality, legal, clinical or business advice.

Do not enter Protected Health Information, patient data, confidential regulatory submissions, trade secrets or controlled company records unless PRC has expressly authorized the workflow under a separate written agreement.

10. Third-party processors

We rely on vetted processors: managed database, email/SMTP, structured intake records, calendar booking, payment processing, and analytics. Each is bound by their own contractual confidentiality commitments.

11. Your rights

Applicable laws and regulations may entitle you to certain rights regarding; accessing your own records, correcting errors in those records, deleting your own records, restricting use of your records, objecting to processing of your records, moving your personal identifiable information from one company to another, withdrawing consent previously provided and/or filing a complaint.

12. International data transfers

Because PRC is based in the United States, your data may be transferred there. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other appropriate safeguards where required by law.

13. HIPAA & PHI

Please do not include Protected Health Information (PHI), identifiable patient data, clinical subject data, unreduced complaint records, confidential design records, regulatory filings, proprietary/secretive data or any other type of highly regulated document that is sensitive in nature via web-based contact form(s) for non-regulated use by our firm’s staff, students participating in courses/exercises or utilizing Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) tools.

When engaging in a Consulting Agreement with PRC, if you will be providing us with sensitive information to assist with your project, we both must initially agree on an acceptable method of transferring said information and execute in writing, an agreement defining the confidentiality, privacy and security requirements associated with such transfer.

14. Children

This site is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
